West-coast melodies.

I love finding new music, the hunt for great sound is one of my favourite things in the world.

Recently, I stumbled on Immaculate Machine from Victoria B.C. and fell head over heels for their album Fables.

Right from the get-go, Fables draws you in with a folk-rock sound on the first track, Jarhand. And throughout the rest of the album, you've got intertwining melodies between the male and female vocals, in a word, beautiful. Immaculate Machine has just enough edge to their more upbeat tracks, and glorious, heart-warming sound on some of the soft-sided ones to quench anyone's musical thirst.

Some key tracks to look for on this album include:
- Jarhand
- Dear Confessor
- Nothing Ever Happens
- C'mon Sea Legs

Eat your hearts out, start loving Fables.

I have this! I SO have this album! I was excited there, momentarily, as I've felt my taste in music to be anything but up-and-coming. Great choice though!
