Beginnings, and personal favourites.

I've taken it upon myself to share what I think is a profound and exquisite taste in music. Pretentious? Just a little, but I hope that who ever reads this gets just as much enjoyment as I did from writing. :]

Let's start things off with one of my most cherished albums, Architecture in Helsinki's debut album, Fingers Crossed.

Starting off with some eccentric electro noises in One Heavy February (a pleasure to see performed live), AIH had me from the get-go. And the vision put out in this track really follows through the rest of the album, cuddly. Whether it's the haunting, melodic voices or the clanging of a glockenspiel, this band is doing at least one thing to flow through your ears and really put your mind at ease.

Some key tracks to look for on this album are:
- One Heavy February
- The Owls Go
- Kindling
- Like a Call

And for your listening pleasure, here is Fingers Crossed. :3
